Autumn Trips Programme

Click on the image to read or download our new Autumn/Winter programme!

Our outings have proved to be so popular that many of our trips have been hugely oversubscribed; so, to ensure that everyone has received the information before we start taking requests, you will see that bookings open for our Autumn/Winter trips on Monday 2nd September,

We try our best to be fair and offer everyone the chance to go on our trips, so places are not simply allocated on a first come, first served basis. When a trip is fully booked we will add names to a reserve list and offer places if anyone cancels, or, if there are enough names, we will endeavour to put on an extra bus. Please be aware: we cannot guarantee that extra buses will run on the original date.

Meanwhile, our thanks, as ever, go to all our wonderful volunteer drivers and minibus escorts who give up their time to ensure these trips can take place – I hope you all enjoy the outings as much as we do!

If you have any suggestions for places we could visit in our next programme of trips, we’d love to hear from you!

Bookings Open 2nd September 2019!

Age Concern Heathfield & District Needs You!

Do you have a few hours to spare?
Would you like to do something rewarding?

With more and more clients using our services, we are looking for new recruits to join us, especially volunteer drivers to join our Medical Car Service Team, using their own car to take clients to doctors, dentists and hospital appointments – drivers can claim 45p per mile in expenses to cover the journeys.

If you have a few hours to spare each week – or even each month – then we would love to hear from you.

Knitting Project

Can you help knit or crochet blankets or twiddle muffs?

Join our group of enthusiastic knitters and crocheters who keep busy all year round making blankets which we distribute locally to those in need during the winter months.

In addition, we also make twiddle muffs which not only keep your hands warm, but are also are very soothing to anyone who fidgets with their hands.

If you would like to take part in our knitting project, please phone (01435) 866960 or email

Heathfield Men’s Shed

The Heathfield & District Men’s Shed (HMS) is the latest venture linked with Age Concern Heathfield & and is open to men over 60 in the TN21 postcode.

The Shed activity fits in nicely with our aim to support those over 60 years of age in the TN21 area & goes hand in hand with our existing facilities.
